Roles and Responsibilities:

-         Develop web applications within a Websphere environment using J2EE frame works augmented by Alpha Blox to Essbase connections.

-         Knowledge of Tomcat on Windows is important as the developer will be migrating applications from Tomcat to Websphere on AIX.

-         Must be a self starter and able to work independently or in teams and communicate to various technical/managerial audiences appropriately. –

-         Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications.

-         Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.

-         Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.

Required Skills:

-         AIX 2 - 4 Years

-         Essbase 1 - 2 Years

-         WebSphere 2 - 4 Years

-         J2EE 2 - 4 Years

-         Java 6 + Years

Preferred Skills:

-         LDAP 1 - 2 Years

-         Alpha blox - definite plus

-         Tomcat - definite plus

-         Windows server - definite plus

-         Swing application development - definite plus
